@humanebroward: He does not need perfect vision to know what love feels like 💔   This 4-year-old tiger kitty has already been through so much. 🥺 When his owners divorced, neither could keep him, and Steven was surrendered to us through no fault of his own 💔 Pets are a lifelong commitment, and it’s heartbreaking when wonderful animals like Steven lose their families because of circumstances they can’t control. 😔   Despite it all, Steven is one of the sweetest, most easy-going cats you’ll ever meet. ❤️‍🩹 He loves lounging by a sunny window, climbing the cat tower, hiding in boxes, and chasing toys that rattle or jingle. 🐱He happily leans in for affection whenever you give it. He is wonderful with kids and other cats, making him the perfect companion for many families.💙   Our veterinarians discovered that Steven has Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)—a condition that reduces vision and may eventually cause blindness. Thankfully, it’s not painful, and cats adapt incredibly well.
