There's nothing or no one to be "Taken in" you become American IMHO by saying so. We are a country based on the idea that we are ALL from somewhere else. We are all immigrants, we are all YOU. 22 months ago we all said WELCOME and that was it. you're as American as anyone else. My humble opinion.

As an Englishwoman who has lived in the states for 28 years, I enjoy your videos, because it’s like we’ve experienced some of the same things. There are many positive things about living in the states and you can’t always explain it to people who aren’t willing to listen, same with people who have preconceived notions about Great Britain. People will always welcome you as a British person and you will find that more and more the longer you live here. ❤
