i’ve had a note on my iphone that i started in 2017 with a list of words and their definitions. it all started when i was watching brooklyn 99, captain holt was an inspiration he always used big words and i was curious

I love finding other people who r nerdy the same way I am. I used to love taking notes as a kid and miss being in school. When I was a kid I’d try to learn like different dog breeds or countries and write them down. Idk how much of it stuck but oh well

A Bit of Earth 🌱 :
I write my vocab words by syllable. As a dyslexic separation of the syllables help me visualize and pronounce the words. Another tool that I sometimes use is writing the target word in script or cursive. The muscle memory or connecting letters can help recall spellings and pronunciations.
