this is NOT true. The US press has been publishing these "deals" as if they're done for months now to pressure China. But China has repeatedly said they won't sell the algorithm. On Aug 21, 2025 Forbes published: In an editorial published Wednesday in state-owned media, the Chinese Communist Party explicitly states that Chinese law “prohibits the export of core technologies such as short video algorithms, drawing a red line for the TikTok transaction.” If you guys want true updates, you have to look at Chinese media bc US media has been publishing only the White House's delusions.
