@raelynnmysticportal: I live in Utah and I wanted to know is the target boycott affecting stores in Utah? A few months after the boy caught I noticed target’s parking lot was still completely full. So it was disappointing to see that not many people in Utah are on our side. However, when I visited today, the parking lot is not even halfway full, hardly anyone is in the store and the store is very clean – I stopped going to the store before the boycott because of how messy it was. It was like 13-year-old girls took over the clothing section and threw everything everywhere. Mixing everything up making it impossible to shop. And it seemed like they never had enough workers to keep the place clean or even have the changing rooms open. When the boy caught happened, I was happy to have a better reason to not shop at that store. So when I saw that it was clean today and still hardly any workers. So it seems like the boycott is finally affecting stores in Utah. I’ll take it as a win. #targetboycott #target #boycott #shopping #messy
They threatened to close my charge card for non use (I’ve had it 15 years and have used last in February) so I bought something online to keep my account open but other than that nah it’s 40 minutes away anyway.

I stopped when my local target put toiletries in locked cabinets, they’ve never employed enough people to unlock deodorant cabinets

The closest one to me is more than an hour away, but when I lived closer to a Target (I've lived close to 3, 2 in different areas of Texas and one in Georgia), and they've been a mess, cluttered, and disorganized for almost a decade depending on the area

When they started locking up everything and you had to “try” to get somebody to come and open it to get the product out ……that’s when I stopped, which was a few year ago

I have not been in a Target in the last 17 years. I purchased one online item from them for a baby shower last year but that's it. I avoid Target, and Walmart at all costs.

I would hazard atm it’s not a direct indicator of the boycott but the economy. Grocery prices are so high that discretionary spending is falling off a cliff. Boycott + Economic woes = sad sad Target. Oh well. Tots and pears to them, I’ve been boycotting since they took down pride 😂

My local Target is awesome. Neat and tidy and the parking lot is usually pretty full.

Target is literally across the street from where I live and I rarely even go in to look but I almost never buy anything. their clothes are crap and I can get things somewhere else for less
