I spent my whole life being told how to dress by my parents. Now that I’m older, I truly don’t want to hear the guy I am with also telling me what I can’t wear. When do I get to wear what I want to wear? There’s so many restrictions on my body bc I’m a woman. Don’t show your hairy armpits or legs. Don’t wear revealing or tight clothes. Can’t I just live my life how I want to the way you as a man do? As a boyfriend or a husband, they’re supposed to offer peace and tranquility, not extra control.
