Spend £200 on a pair of shoes that need a £20 repair every 30 years. Or buy a new pair of shoes for £25 out of Tesco every year for 30 years.

My local one redid the soles of my Birkenstocks for £20. They did an amazing job and I saved a good bit of money from not need to buy new ones.
