Spend £200 on a pair of shoes that need a £20 repair every 30 years. Or buy a new pair of shoes for £25 out of Tesco every year for 30 years.

This is a real skill, how much waste would be saved from landfill if we had our shoes repaired instead of buying new or opting for low quality fast fashion

So can you enlighten me a bit? When a shoe or boot is basically all dead and gone, what's the point of restoration when they could buy new?

You must be in England or London or something because out in here in California they just look at it so we can’t fix that

Great to see repairs being done when we’ve become such a throw away society now. Great result 👏👏👏💗

My local one redid the soles of my Birkenstocks for £20. They did an amazing job and I saved a good bit of money from not need to buy new ones.
