I used to design entire pieces of furniture specifically to avoid building drawers. The math always messed me up and they never fit right anyway. If you’re still avoiding them, here is the exact cheat sheet I use so I never have to do the fraction math again: 1. Cut your two side pieces to match the exact length of your drawer slides. 2. The No Math Hack: Put your slides and side pieces inside the frame, and just measure the empty gap in between. That exact measurement is the length for your front and back pieces. 3. Cut a 1/4” deep groove (a dado) exactly 1/2” up from the bottom of all four pieces. 4. Assemble three sides, slide your bottom panel into the groove, and screw on the back. Save this for your next project so you don't forget the groove measurements, and let me know in the comments if you want the exact pocket hole settings I used for this.
