@ajnabi._6x: one thing I forgot to mention, If you think someone's opinion or belief is unethical or morally wrong, you can advise them, you can disagree with them, you can debate them, but that still doesn't give you the right to harm them. If you want to preach then also learn to take other's opinions as well. Edit: Some ppl in the comments seem confused, so let me clear things up. I'm not just talking about opinions, I'm also including beliefs, religion, culture, or any kind of difference that might cause ppl to stand against each other. My point is simple: you're free to dislike someone's opinion, belief, religion, culture, etc. Dislike it all you want. But no one has the right to force their views onto others. I don't think I need to spell out real-life examples, we all know ppl are killed for having a different religion, race, or opinion. I've met plenty of ppl who claim to be just and unbiased, but the moment they face someone with a different opinion, they can't accept it and try to push their own views instead and even hate them for that, and that hate is the result of killings. This is sort of a level one analysis. There are situations where ideas are too important to dismiss differences as “just an opinion”, and too complex to sit down and learn it in the duration of a single argument. This could be something like politics where there are real world consequences. I think the true issue is that most people today hold ideologies and opinions for aesthetics, and to signal that they are part of an in-group. This makes their knowledge shallow because the content doesn’t matter, all they need to do is show their allegience. This leads to another problem; normally a person should try to convince people to join their ideology based on facts and action plans to help make the world better. But since the ideology is just an aesthetic, and the actual; implicit goal is to just make more people be on their side, they can stretch truths or lie and create a new, “fake” reality where everyrhing is a more radical version of what it actually is. And since their ideological opposition has been doing the exact same thing for the same length of time, you get two sides arguing nonexistant positions and facts, and neither cares to resolve the divide because it entrenches the differences and prevents people from leaving your in-group. Thus, it ensures they no one leaves your side, which again, is the actual goal, and not to have correct opinions and make the world a better place.

Most people, especially on TikTok have NO idea what they’re talking about. Anyone can spew words that some ppl precive as wise but realistically they hold no true wisdom of their own.
