I'm 5'8, so height wise I'm not intimidating but I lift so I'm decently built and I have dreads. With the stigma about black men with dreads I've been in situations where I've felt like white people are intimidated by me, even if they're taller than me they've said they wouldn't want to get into a fight with me

I personally think this question should be directed towards the ones who seem to have the problem. Ask them why they get uncomfortable just seeing a Black person or an interracial couple. We’re not the ones tense or turning red, so why are we being asked to explain their discomfort?

Also guys, if you read my comments when it comes to interracial dating, I’ve noticed any racer woman from New Jersey Baltimore Cincinnati. They treat us very well even our own race. You can actually have a conversation with those women. It’s kinda hard in Atlanta unless you find a sweet spot.

Yes, sometimes I wonder if it’s because I’m 6’4 270 or if it’s bc I’m black. But I do see the caution and fear. However if I wear nice clothes or get out of a nice vehicle people act completely different.

Honestly at least for me I do feel intimidated but in a good way. (As a whiteboi) Like, you just seem so succesful and confident, makes me nervous all of a sudden. If more words are exchanged I do get over it and the conversation is normal!

The intimidation is true. And to my side a gym rat, both genders seem afraid sometimes to give them confort, I end up crossing to the other side of the road and then cross over again after we have passed each other. I just want peace.

People react towards me depending on whatever stereotypes people learned. Some people think I'm poor, or thuggish, or illiterate, or they are just confused seeing a Black person where they didn't expect to see one.
