Something to consider: when you jump to action when your child screams he only understands cause and affect. “Screaming is how I get my needs met” therefore enforcing that behaviour for next time. Waiting to give the need/ want until the child is displaying a polite ask/ calmness will enforce that more wanted behaviour for next time.
