I am so sorry for your loss ive been watching silently but I couldn't help but to think that Preston is still in that house. and you are feeling his presence very strong when you walk in there. that could he the heavy feeling you are feeling. I felt it soon as you walked in. Just know it might feel abandoned but its not. hes there in another dimension.

Everyone's grief journey is different. Some people can't imagine moving away from the place their loved one that they lost was last in but others find it too painful to stay. Both are understandable and are very personal choices ❤

My aunt lost her daughter 15 yrs ago on Thanksgiving, she was 17 in her senior year . Her room is still set up but now it’s like a sitting room when we need to feel close to her daughter

yes that must be very very hard.. if you feel like it's to unbearable to go in there and see your son's belongings maybe a family member can go in there and put it all in boxes tucked away somewhere so that it will be a little easier for you to go in there. 💜
