@okdance2: Brave Dog Saves 90-Year-Old Dementia Patient, Becomes Korea's First "Honorary Rescue Dog" In Hongseong County, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, a touching story took place: a dog named Baekgu (백구) saved a missing 90-year-old dementia patient, Mrs. Kim. Mrs. Kim had gone missing after losing her way in the fields. Baekgu followed her, eventually finding her in a rice field, and stayed by her side while she was unconscious, preventing her body temperature from dropping too low. Rescue workers, using a thermal imaging drone, spotted Baekgu and were able to locate Mrs. Kim. In recognition of Baekgu’s heroic actions, the local police awarded him the title of “Honorary Rescue Dog,” making him the first dog in Korea to receive this distinction.#turestory #viarl #usatrending #crime #baekgu
