Even if they aren’t endgame I absolutely LOVED the scene with Jere and Denise. Denise showed him that he didn’t need to compare himself to his brother. He was finally appreciated by someone who he has a genuine friendship and connection too without Conrad lingering in the shadows. She saw him for him and liked what he saw and he was enough which is SO IMPORTANT for him. I really loved this for him

It’s nice that Jere found a woman who is not a fan of his brother. But a huge and genuine supporter and friend to him. With that being said, I would prefer to have Jeremiah continue his journey and growth alone for some time. Conquer that fear of being alone. While Denise prospers in California, and they keep in touch

I think Denise helps Jere grow to love himself and gain some self confidence but I don’t think he ultimately ends up with her. I just like that he’s finally happy with himself and his current situation 🥰

I love Denise but I feel like he needs her more as a friend than a lover. He doesn’t need to be codependent with someone else. He absolutely needs to learn how to be alone for a bit.

I’m happy for him. He is surrounded by people who love and support him. This little ship with Denise was perfect for him. She pushes him and encourages him. Words of affirmation is definitely his love language.

Can we please talk about Jenny filming fake scenes to make Jeremiah’s n belly fans think it was a different ending .. like the waste of money???? I feel like she did too much when she just could have started making Conrad n belly make there way back to each other in season 3… why keep adding Jeremiah.. n after changing so many things in the book n Jeremiah character assassination.. but she jumps hurdles to make Conrad look better then he was.. while also taking away from jer n giving to Conrad like I feel like fans needs to not watch the movie because who films fake scenes .. ?? Like can someone talk about this???

I also love that they are the same age. 🥰 Small detail but this relationship feels really nicely balanced. He will focus on himself and his cooking career and she will work on her gaming company. And maybe they will reunite.

I’m happy for Jere, and I don’t have anything against Denise — but that kiss wasn’t necessary. They could’ve kept it platonic, maybe hinted at a spark without crossing the line. Her support and compliments were sweet, even a little healing, but the kiss felt like a bandaid slapped over an open wound. Almost like, “See? Jere’s fine now, he’s got another girl.” And that just doesn’t sit right with me. Ambiguity would’ve been more powerful — leaving the door cracked without minimizing the weight of what he went through. To me, it matters more to honor his heartbreak than to paper over it. Especially since, like you said, Jere’s focus right now is learning to stand on his own.

I do think and I truly hope he will be alone. He will keep up with everyone. Or he will find a guy and go that route. But honestly I do hope he just enjoys becoming the best chef there is!!
