Get involved in a local church, serve do all the extra activities that they do. And you’ll find out that you have a family out there waiting for you in church. The church I grew up in. I don’t live near there anymore, but those people are my family always be my family. When I say that the love that I have for them is equal to my family. I would not be lying and I’ve created that by going to church.

I also don’t have a family or should I say I have a broken family so I also feel alone and only person that I lean really is the man above since the little girl really but I’ve never always had a broken family until like about five years ago When my grandmother passed away, who was my guardian and my mother and my father, all in one

He’s a father to the fatherless and he will never leave you or forsake you his spirit is faithful to be with you forever. You’re not abandoned you’re adopted. Put God in that place of void to fill it and never replace him with expectations to have someone else be him but build relationships on him as the one who will never leave or forsake you. Do a movie night with God, take walks on the beach with God, have a reading club with just you and God and don’t put anyone else in that space.

Hi Vicky, I can see how much it means to you to have a close relationship with your parents. That longing is so natural because God designed us for family and connection. Even though they didn’t respond the way you hoped, I love that you planted a seed by inviting them. Now they know that if and when they’re ready to turn to God or open the Bible, they can come to you. That’s powerful 🌱 I also want to encourage you that God always provides family through His people. I love that you shared that scripture with them, “He sets the lonely in families” Psalm 68:6, and I believe He will bring you into friendships and community where you can grow together in His Word. I hope you already have, or soon find, a small group of Christians you can gather with- people who can pray with you, encourage you, and have those rich, fruitful conversations you long for. You’re walking faithfully, even when it feels lonely. That shows strength and love for Jesus. Keep shining and pressing into Him. Your example speaks louder than you may realize. I’m praying that God surrounds you with the love and support you need, and that He blesses your faithfulness abundantly 💞✝️💖

Walking with Christ is an individual mission. Your family is in Christ that’s when everyone around is doing the same thing. Don’t be unequally yolked with unbelievers. Pray for them and love them but this journey is yours my dear. When the Lord has plans for you, He will separate you from some of the people you love the most and that includes your own children and parents too. The yearning for family will go away when you’re focused. There’s no love above God’s love 🙏🏾

I’m the only spiritual one out of all of my siblings and parents now. I’m the only one that prays. It really can feel isolating. I’m also a single mother that lives with her parents, so it is especially isolating. I’d love to connect. I’m here. Anything you need.

Try to remember, God often set His most beloved people apart like the prophets in the Bible to teach them their greatest lessons and prepare them for their calling. Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, Jesus, etc. Sometimes God allows seasons of solitude so we can draw closer to Him and some of his most beloved went in life feeling lonely so they could hear His voice more clearly, and be refined for the next stage of our purpose.

Girl! Let’s do it together! I got the Bible app and we can be friends on there and do devotionals straight on the app. I know what it’s like to have family not want to do these things but then God gives you spiritual family that will do it at the drop of a hat.
