Thank you very much for sharing this video. I am Japanese, and I truly believe we need the support of people overseas. Please don’t misunderstand—this is not about discrimination, but about making clear distinctions. Many foreigners do make the effort to respect and adapt to Japan’s culture, manners, and laws, and we are deeply grateful for that. What troubles us are those who do not—people who try to impose their own customs (such as insisting on burial practices), break the law, or act in ways that go against Japanese manners and traditions. Even a small number of such actions can erode what makes Japan uniquely Japan. That is why I sincerely hope that thoughtful, responsible voices from abroad will speak out and urge the Japanese government and media to take this issue seriously.
