piss poor $$ seizure procedures at that agency. it's not rocket science but if someone's dirty or has a stupid moment there's no way around it. implement a sound policy and quit counting money in the field or station. freeze it, photograph, bag, tag, and seal it up with at least two officers, notify supervisor IMMEDIATELY. rephoto ...direct to evidence safe....straight to the bank for the count asap....more photos, more documentation. we never counted any $ seizures. $1 off and shit hit the fan.
