Getting in before all the usual comments start. The SandCat is a direct, like for like replacement of the previous Armoured Jankels that have come to the end of their life. Yes, we are seeing the SandCats more than we used to see the Jankels because we are in an age where every budget is being squeezed and it is no longer possible to have assets that sit hidden away 'just in case' (with a few exceptions), every asset now needs to earn its keep so as these are armed response and public order assets they are now being used for public order and armes operations more regularly, so we are seeing them more often.
