Like there is sone way to objective measure what amount of attention the media gives to any event. CK is the most covered event in recent memory. Much more than recent school shootings, the killing of 3 in Minnesota for being prominent Democrats etc etc. The FCC intimidating a huge media company into cancelling a show for purely political reasons ought to be a concern to the left and the right, but when has the right ever stood on principle?

Kimmel was fired after the FCC threatened ABC’s broadcasting license. “FCC Chair Brendan Carr suggested that ABC’s broadcast license could be at risk because of Jimmy Kimmel’s comments about Tyler Robinson, who is accused of murdering Charlie Kirk.” That’s essentially the government warning a network: comply, or face consequences. No one actually cares about the show itself being cancelled. People don’t have to be sad about the death of a man who built his entire platform on racism, misogyny, misinformation, and pushing white superiority.

um I'm pretty sure everyone was really upset and alarmed about the fact Kirk got killed more than Kimmel losing his job my guy. People are just confused as to why a president is actively restricting people who don't agree with his opinion despite this being a free speech pushed country.
