You are not insane. It’s genius ma’am. There are many days I contemplate replacing my husband with 3 mini dachshunds but then I would have to learn how to mow the yard 😂😂😂

My dachshund does the same thing - so friendly and playful to every dog he sees UNTIL he’s at the dog park and he hides the whole time or wants to be picked up 😭

My dogs are sooo weird at the dog parks that are gated but the dog park with an open grass field they love & will socialize way more!!!! I think they feel cornered in the fenced parks
