Cats shouldn't get baths more than once or twice a year, or only when necessary, because it can strip their coat of natural oils, dry out their skin, and cause stress. Most importantly, cats are HUGE territorial animals, they rely on scent and your washing it off. Spit might not be huge for YOU, but for a cat it’s everything. They groom themselves. I don’t care how clean you may think you sound but if you want a cat you can bathe GET A SPHINX!!😭 Jesus.

I like you! Because my cats go to the groomers every 1 and a half to get a bath, teeth cleaned, and nails clipped. My vet told me oh no they don’t need a bath and I looked at her like yeah NOT in this household they get a bath

My fur babe is still a kitten and no body talks about how stinky kittens are! I give him a bath every month and then I’ll switch him to every 4 :)

I aim to bathe my cat at the end of the month. he doesnt go outside but it helps with shedding and if fleas get inside somehow. plus hes prepared, in case he ever gets into a mess. its not a big what in the world is this type of deal
