We don't buy bacon grease. We pour it off the pan when we're done making bacon, and save it. Eventually you'll have enough to deep fry.

they look amazing if you want them even crispier when you slice them, salt them, wait 30 minutes the salt will bring the moisture up and dab them off before you proceed. these are one of my favorite treats
