It’s not the rates as much as it is the PRICES of these homes. Good grief , they are not worth these prices. Period.

It is still the prices of the houses. The investing for profits in renting and flipping is the real problem. Low interest rate feed this scam

House prices don't help. I bought my first house in '96 at 7.8% and my second in 2000 at 7.5. But, house prices were laughable compared to today.

Not with the escrow going up a crazy amounts every year. I am holding onto my less than 3% rate. But the 40%+ increases on Real Estate Taxes and Insurance is just insane. I don’t know how our children will be able to afford buying houses!!

Yeah, I think I’m sorry I sold my place. It was too much 6 1/2 acres 2100 ft.² 1900 ft.² outbuilding. Costing me as much to build a 16 32 ft.² on an acre the friggin price of everything is ridiculous.

Also, homes were a lot cheaper so it’s not only the interest rate. Homes cost way too much.

All the lake places in central Minnesota are empty all summer. The baby boomers are dyig off. Going to be good deals in the future for people with cash.

its amazing what covid has done to this industry. Good or bad. I was in my house for 15 years and I had barely gained 20 percent profit. Within 2 years after covid My house almost Doubled. How the heck does that happen.

The amount of foreclosures too, brother. I do a lot of creative and subject to real estate. I am getting two houses a day from realtors and I’m not even trying.

Bottom line if you sell in this market you’re probably gonna have to buy in this market.
