He said his favorite meal was chicken Marcella so I found the best recipe I could and made it. It tasted amazing. He downplayed it and said he never said it was his favorite dish. He just likes that type of food and it was “ok”. Well, I decided to make it for my parents and his Grandma to show them I could cook when he said that I couldn’t. He “had to help me” by adding scallions instead of onions and this instead of that, turned out a bit bitter and he blamed it on the other ingredients that I put in it. He definitely sabotaged it, then cooked some fancy meal for my family to out do me.

He would always tell me like oh it doesn’t matter that you work more hours at work than me because I do physical labor and it’s way more exhausting…and always trying to compete with me! Didn’t even realize it was a sign of narcissism in the moment. There’s more examples too but that was a big one.

I told him some fact he didn't know and he says "wow I actually learned something new from you!" also added he doesn't learn new things from other people as well, not just little old me hahaha

I got these. It came way better than I thought. I don’t need to be right at the time I know the truth will come out and that I’m right. Everyone tells me how hard I work at my job. You shouldn’t get a job I can make in a day what you’d make in a week. You never say anything nice to me. There’s so many more.

Upper Reality :
What about when they try to act like your achievements are normal and typical of you? Or if you do something good today and they let you receive praise, but tomorrow they’re telling somebody else that that particular thing isn’t the only way in the world to do things?

once picking my baby out of his cot and my back went i almost dropped him and my ex was in the room didn't run to help me just said his friend (female friend he was using for triangulation) has a way worse back than mine 🙃
