my dm loves cursing us so here are my favourites: our paladin is completely illiterate and if he tries going somewhere on his own he accidentally gets himself in hell my jester character needed to make someone laugh every 30 minutes or suffer d8 psychic damage our artificer will blow up the whole planet if she stands still for too long my gunslinger fighter gets robbed every 7 days by hermes himself

The immunity to non magical damage was fun, no longer did I have to worry about leaping from rooftops or falling off cliffs, because if that bludgeoning damage from the fall wasn’t magical (or silver), I was fine lol

my play group was playing pathfinder I was a chaotic neutral goblin alchemist bomber (basically just throwing explosives to debuff enemies) for my roll playing id roll a D20 to see how my character would react or what decisions I'd make. (come to a fork in the road... odds I choose left evens i choose right) we found the deck of many things I rolled a d8 to choose what to roll (d4d6d8d10d12d20) hit an 8 so rolled the D20 hit a 14 so my character grabs the deck rips the top 14 cards off in curiosity missed all the bad cards got a pocket dimension, married a genie, had an ant army, became the goblin king, were bear, and so on lol broke the game after that BBEG boss was attacked by the whole goblin race, the giant ant army, and a flying were bear that debuffs you but hits harder the the half giant barbarian....
