For those who might be curious. Injera is a flat bread made from a grain called Teff. The batter is lightly fermented then cooked on a flat pan, the holes form when air bubbles escape as it cooks. Its very healthy and high in protein.

I was so blessed to go on a study abroad trip to Ethiopia. The culture there is so beautiful!! They told me to say this fast” imma say goodnite yo” to help me to remember how to say thank you 😂 although, not quite the same sounds, but I’ll never forget how to say it!
