Resellers ruined it for everyone! Goodwill saw them buying thing then reselling it at a market up and went wait… we can do that ourselves 😫

This is true and people like to blame resellers, but it's Goodwill that's taking your donations and selling them online so yes stop giving to Goodwill and especially don't buy on online !

Goodwill needs the Target treatment. Local small owned thrift stores have better prices anyway.

Kids toys and prime items are trucked to a warehouse to be sold on eBay. The CEO took away veterans discount on Tuesdays. No more Christmas bonus for employees. They never been a charity but for profit company. The CEO makes $3 million dollars a year plus benefits.

I work at goodwill and this is awful and true. they force us to send anything of possible value to the warehouse where they sell online. they also constantly nag us to price higher and higher (closer to retail prices). there are just a few stores in our area and our CEO makes over $100k a year while employees make dirt. there's no such thing as a non-profit (someone is always profiting).
