@the.newsandcrime.vault: Albuquerque, New Mexico 📍 In 2013 at Rio Grande High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a severely disabled student named Joshua Caldwell injured his teacher — a rare case that ended up in court. This incident sparked conversation about how schools and the justice system respond when students with significant disabilities are involved in violent outbursts. #usa
my question is is why did he keep going back to the one teacher he must have something against her or she was doing something that caused it cause and effects maybe if people learned how to take care of them better the school systems kind of messed up anyways so I don't think anybody would be able to take care of them the way there needed to be they're too scared that or they just don't have common sense 😂

People don’t understand that people with disabilities can cause them so many things to get upset. I work for ARCA and you really gotta learn how to someone with disabilities to get them to try something for them not to get upset

It doesn’t matter if they’re disabled if they committed the crime they do the time like everybody else no exceptions. That’s what’s wrong with the law. Too many exceptions. You do the crime you do the time. And we need the death penalty in Albuquerque New Mexico. I vote for it.

Sounds like the teacher may have been mean and picking on him a lot, he had enough. Sometimes kids will rage back if they’ve been picked on. Just because he’s disabled doesn’t mean u mistreat an individual… could be that too… 🤷🏻♀

Stop blaming the teachers please. I have worked with student with disabilities in the past and they literally could have something happen at home, which they can take out on the teachers. Anything can trigger them. The teacher could be doing her job perfectly and the student can still snap.

Parents of the victim need to sue Aps as they obviously failed the student. Money is the only punishment schools understand.
