@ntsikiblessreads: Slow Burn | Review (⭐️⭐️⭐️) “Everything about me felt more alive than it ever had; every cell inside of me was begging for more.” Slow Burn is a second chance romance story that follows two dancers who are struggling to balance their lives while their families have expectations that doesn’t align with them. Lira was forced to give up her dream as a dancer when she was nineteen. As the eldest daughter she was expected to run the family business while her two sisters explore the world and pursue their dreams. Lira haven’t danced professionally in years. It took her by surprise when a Spanish choreographer saw her fit to be part of the new world tour show - to become a dance partner of Gabrielle. These two are reunited again after their one night stand years ago. They not only share their love for dancing but they both understand how it feels to have families that are not supportive of their life choices. The dance elements and the drama ( and some jealousy) that came with Lira’s sisters is one of my favourite things about this book. Otherwise the storyline did not hook me as much as I thought it would. Thank you @Jonathan Ball Publishers for this review copy. 💕 #booksfyp #BookTok #bookrecs #slowburn #fyp
