I think there seems to be a lot of misinformation in the comments here. I read a bit about it and it seems like the issue is that they don’t shear the wool but comb it out while the goats are tied up and that they do it quite aggressively for a long time hence the blood in the protest. I think speaking out about this and making sure the goats get treated well is a just cause even if I don’t like PETA. We should want animals to not suffer!

I worked with sheep and I can tell you shearing them did not hurt them or make them bleed. Sure if they moved they got knicked a little, but that’s normal. PETA is such hypocrites and are always spreading misinformation.
