@christyypov: I’ve been feeling pulled to come back on here. But social media is a hard thing to balance in alignment with my islamic values. So I’ve been questioning myself, whats my intention with posting? I stopped because I didn’t feel like I could make content that can bring you guys closer to Allah, or bring me closer to Him. As a matter of fact, I felt like I was lost on why I was even doing tiktok, I needed to refocus on purifying myself and my intentions, to build something that pleases Allah. Then, I found out I was pregnant. Truly divine timing, it made it more clear to me that I needed to focus on my growth, so that I can be a good role model for my baby. Alhamdulillah I was able to wear the hijab before her arrival. Having her is Allah giving me an opportunity to get real about who I truly want to be, who I want Yara to look up to and be like when she grows up - a woman who prioritises Allahs pleasure in every aspect of her life, living with intention and spreading goodness. I am trying to live with this in mind everyday, refining my character and actions. Inshallah Allah make it easy for me to share more of what I am learning with you so we can grow together. May Allah make us all leaders of Islam in our own ways. Ameen.
