Supposedly this game has sold over 100k copies yet it's peak lifetime concurrent players is 369 9 years ago. Even without the bug nobody actually seems to care about this game. It's peak in last 30 days is 34. So 100k sales but 34 players?

I've bought into the game many many years ago. Sure while the steam mistake sucks, the game has been in development hell for 9 years and people wouldn't have bought it anyway. The devs heavily overshot on scope. The 100k+ wishlists are most likely ppl that simply forgot to remove this game they added a decade ago that would look at reviews now and wouldn't buy it anyway.

Something else that would help indie devs is if we go back to releasing Demos. And not jsut during certain weeks/sales or SteamNextFest. Let it live. I have purchased games largely because the demo sold me and I wanted more.
