@maxhealthpure: ⬇️Read here… They told me not to. Told me not to fall in love with him. Told me not to move to Japan. Told me not to have “mixed” children. But I did — and I have never been more proud of the life I chose. Of the son I birthed. Of the peace I built. Being a Black American woman living in Japan has taught me more about health — true health — than any wellness trend back home ever could. Here’s what I’ve learned, and what I live by: 🌿 Japan Taught Me This About Health: • 🍲 Eat until you’re 80% full (Hara Hachi Bu) — because fullness is not the same as health. • 🚶🏾♀️ Movement should be woven into your day — not forced at the gym, but lived through walking, squatting, lifting real life. • 🍵 Green tea isn’t just a drink — it’s a ritual. Antioxidants, clarity, and presence in one sip. • 😴 Sleep is sacred — not a grind badge. No “team no sleep” here, just deep rest. • 💧 Methylene blue, daily — just a few drops, but it’s my edge. Boosts focus, lifts the fog, sharpens my energy on days I’m mothering, working, and healing generational wounds all at once. My son will grow up in a world where love looks like many shades. And where health is deep, not just aesthetic. Mama didn’t understand — but I do. And now, so will he. 🌏🖤 #BlackAndAbroad #JapanLife #MixedAndMagical #GenerationalHealing #WellnessInTranslation #MethyleneBlue #MotherhoodUnfiltered #usa #america
