Destiel is very toxic from both points of view, at first it was Dean who loved him more and trusted Cass more, when Cass betrayed him (how dramatic he almost cried) then it was Cass who needed Dean (or at least is my opinion of Destiel in canon, They care a lot about each other but at the same time they are so angry)
