in the past, there are 2 stage for trial 1 stage Prosecutor trial for victim to accuse the suspect Whether prosecutor want to charge the suspect ( innocence till proven guilty) in drama, it is Yamen ( Police Prosecutor) 2nd stage by appeal against decision of Police Prosecutor presumption : u are guilty till u prove otherwise, because Police prosecutor had issued arrest warrant ( guilty presumption) By appeal, the suspect request their case been heard before council of jury... on 1 stage= Question of law on 2 stage = Question of fact Final stage: if u are convicted of crimes , the case proceed to another Judicial Ministry for determining ur sentencing of ur convicted crime Chancellor are Lawmaker in TV drama Magisrate officer are basically ur city level mayor...by final appeal with power to grant pardon for ur crime commited in the city ( criminal crime) or commuting to lesser sentencing. China got Rule of law since Qin dynasty. Han Legal system are very popular throughout centuries, been reinvented into Tang law, Ming law, Qing law. China got tradition of legal rule by community adjudication ( case law) ( peer to peer review) And Civil law legislation by Statute law passed. And Policy regulation by delegated authority by govt body Ministry... And Convention law by virtue of social regulation by Club society for benefit of community as a whole And Private Member Law petitioned by individual for govt to pass new law on certain topic of public interest or highlighting current injustice
