my father is 88yo. He doesn't have Alzheimer's or dementia. But his body is broken and tired after multiple cancers (colon, prostate, and skin), open heart surgery, and a broken hip, all of which happened after he retired at 75. He is now in a wheelchair. A multi-millionaire in a wheelchair, who never enjoyed life, who never rested, who never took care of his wife and children, and whose millions now go to pay for caregivers and an extended care facility.

Thank you for sharing! You got this My Grandpa had dementia. I became he’s FT caregiver! Left my corporate job after 11 1/2 years ! He passed 03/03/25 ! May he rest in heaven! I would do it all over again. ❤

I've learned that once the estrogen abandons the body women are more at risk of dementia. Sadly our mothers were denied HRT and went raw with menopause. Perimenopause can start as early as 35 years old, keep an eye on it and get your HRT

Many homeless are elderly with dementia. They have no families or their families are unwilling to care.

She’s precious and you know what, life humbles us in certain ways. I lost my sweet momma in 2022. She was 57. Terminal illness. Now I work in a nursing home with people like her. Man it’s been a blessing. I’m thinking of you all. This disease is hard. I’m proud of you. And in your heart, I don’t need to explain why 🖤 bless your mommas little heart.
