Recipe (serves 2-4) Ingredients 225 g (½ lb) long pasta of your choice 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced Red pepper flakes, to taste 2 tbsp (30 g) tomato paste 2 cans @bumblebeefoods Tuna Snackers Sweet Heat ¼ cup (40 g) Kalamata olives, chopped 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (reserve some for garnish) Zest of 1 lemon + juice of ½ lemon Grated Parmesan cheese, to finish Salt, for pasta water Steps Cook pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta until 1 minute shy of al dente, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water. Drain. Build sauce: In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook ~30 sec until fragrant. Stir in tomato paste and cook ~1 min until it darkens. Combine pasta: Add pasta, olives, and ½ cup reserved pasta water to the pan. Toss until coated. Add tuna & finish: Stir in tuna, parsley (reserve some for garnish), lemon zest, and lemon juice.
