Josh Weissman “crunchiest” fries method: - Soak frozen fries in water for 30 seconds (drain excess and shake). - Microwave for 5 minutes - Air-fry for 15 minutes (check & shake/flip halfway) until golden & crisp. - Add a bit of oil and seasoning The Science Behind It: - Soak = removes excess starch. - Microwave = par-cooks & removes interior water. - Air-fry = high-speed dry heat for a crunchy crust.
