I’m from India and I am part of the St. Thomas Christians. Many people think that the British and the Portuguese brought Christianity to India, but in reality, especially in the South of India St. Thomas preached the gospel and my ancestors converted at that time which is over 2000 years ago, much older than some of the western Christians.

Don’t forget Assyrians!! We’re a non Arab indigenous ethnic group and are persecuted very heavily for our faith and ethnicity. We still speak the language of Jesus, just different dialects, and we say “Allaha” for God 🥰

Yesterday I was with som of my college classmates and all the sudden the subject switched to mocking Christianity and I just sat in silence, I defended it what I could but then stopped because I didn’t want to draw more suspicion ( I converted August 7th )

It’s heartbreaking how Arab Christians (and Christians in general) face persecution, and this issue often goes unspoken. Identifying as an Arab Christian or discussing conversions feels taboo; which could probably be why it's unspoken of. Some Africans and African Americans mistakenly view Christianity as a "white man's religion" too, but it has deep roots in Africa as well, long before slavery

Awwww, your to sweet! I’m a Proud Christian Catholic from Lebanon (dad’s side) and Palestinian-Jordanian (mums side). I think something really cool is just learning what the origin of certain words are. Like Eid means celebration or feast, so Easter is Eid El Fiseh (celebration of Passover) and Christmas is Eid El Meled (celebration of the birth).

in that case, let Arab Christians educate the world about their existence. You're believers of Christ and you should be brave enough to share how you practice the Christian and how it's different from islam. We live in a more connected world now, there's different social media platforms you can spread this message. not just with narration like you're saying it. but videos, show people and let Christians in other parts of the world see these and know the difference, as well and non believers too
