When I flew back to San Diego last June my connecting flight was fr Phoenix,AZ. I saw tsa double checking IDs in the gate, flight to San Antonio,TX. When it’s our timebto board to SAN no tsa checking. Why is that? I wonder 🧐🤔

They have these anytime there’s any kind of big event (protests) etc. in the destination city. They had this for flights to Portland for almost a year during the protests. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was to Phoenix yesterday

I’ve only had that happen to me ONCE and it was at JFK a few weeks after the mid air crash and I’ve flown a lot. I believe it’s random
