you should be allowed to sue to have an hoa disbanded if they attempt to impose and enforce unreasonable requests. maintain the lawn, sure. dont elave trash cans out, whatever. telling me I can't paint my house untill we have a meeting? no go straight to hell.

Put up a camera and leave something expensive in the garage that you don’t mind loosing. Once it’s stolen sue the hoa and the president for putting your safety and lose of good at risk
