I have a PhD but I work in a care facility home the night shift. no one to talk to. the people I take care of are also sleeping. small pay but not burning me out. an office job would kill me.

I started cleaning houses, it's been great because I just put on my headphones & lock in, and I can build my own schedule and expand/shrink based on energy.

I just got a job and I just started doing over time just to pay months or a year off of rent so I can quit and do whatever it is I want to study and make to sell. That small goal is giving me some strength to recognize that the job isn’t permanent for long. Wish me luck.

I've never took a J.O.B. that wasn't temporary to keep the lights on. The ones that "survive" are self employed. I was fortunate early on to have self employment influences. When I was in grade school, and asked what do I want to do when I grow up, my answer was always "I don't know, but I'll be running the company".

Data entry or other jobs with very limited socializing. And I just pretend to be functioning.

I’m delivery driving, took a bit to find my rhythm and routine. Now that I’m finding a healthy balance. I’m thinking it’s the best fit of the many jobs I’ve tried. I’m going to keep at this one until I can start catering. It’s hard finding the right fit. Hope you find what works for you.
