I have carried the burden and responsibility of being the first hijabi many many people have met. But know that Allah SWT chose you for this for a reason and He sees your struggles💕

I'm a very new revert and I haven't started wearing my hijab to work yet. I just asked to get off early to attend Jummah. I'm trying to get there! I live in the deep south..Im a black women who is now a revert! The only one in my entire family, no muslim friends! I wouldn't change any of it! Allah(Swt) choose to call us and that is an honor! We will be strengthening...dont give up! I see you and your matter! Sending hugs your way!

wait I know you said this was a burden to bear, but when you said “I am part of the process of changing people’s minds” that was so beautiful to think about! I’ve been Muslim my whole life but didn’t wear hijab until last year. it is such a difficult change, but a blessing to know that people can look at how you act & treat others. Our hijab is literally dawah! all of the people we touch will be part of our good deeds on the day of judgement

I totally feel you as a born muslim! I think what really helps me is remembering that Mary also went through similar even worse experiences with her people, but she remained strong and firm and through patience and consistency, she became a symbol of strength. Sometimes its our firmness and consistency and patience is what makes a difference within ourselves and others around us. 💗💗💗 I wish you and all other hijabis strength and power!! Also remember that every struggle we go through gives us even more and more good deeds, and these same struggles may be a reason for us to enter paradise easily 💗💗💗
