I went private and got it diagnosed as a grade 2 mcl sprain. this happened at the end of August and my kneecap still pops if I straighten or bend my knee. along w the popping i feel it moves around and if I move my kneecap to the left it scrapes against something before going back into place

So what is it when you try and straighten out your leg and you can't. it feels like a ligament gets stuck or moved? I know i need an mri thats coming.

I have patella syndrome and went to pt for it but it keeps popping when my bend down… am I cooked..

My knee cap slid out of place and slid back in while running and now every time I move a certain way or squat down it pops and hurts. It also hurts right before it rains or if it’s cold outside. Also if I sit for a while it becomes stiff.

Then after you have surgery go ahead back to normal life. They forget to mention when bending to floor, sitting on floor, squatting or bending your knees. You are still in pain.

i did this at gymnastics in february ago and no body believed me when i told them i couldnt straighten my knee the next day and to this day i can’t fully straighten my knee and i even got it on vid

Knee surgeon here. Great video on meniscus tears. Unfortunately the meniscus has poor blood supply and may not heal on its own

Well I tore mine when I was 12, I literally tore it all around in half😅 still have problems with it🙈

I tared mine back in February and I had surgery on it. I went to pt to help be get my function back. Now when I run or keep my leg straight it hurts and I’m out of pt.

I got this on my right knee. When I take a wrong step, my knee twists and it’s very painful. There’s also a cracking sound sometimes when I walk, and it hurts when I run or walk for a long time.
