Can someone explain the benefits? Functional it’s the same as shifting with the column shifter? My understanding is the solenoid valve body in 5R110s are not easily controlled and no such manual valve body exists for 5Rs.

To my knowledge unless something has changed, they do not make a FMVB for the 5r110w because the tcm is “too smart.” So I’m assuming this kit is for 4r100 swapped and factory 4r100 trucks?
