Dx with fibro/ME/Long Covid, I have chronic costochondritis. I'm in a flare up now, simply from dusting and wiping my kitchen counters! It is completely debilitating.

Hi people, I was told I had this too & nothing could be done. After 20+ years of pain, I did my own research & came across ‘Intercostal Neuralgia’. I saw a different GP and asked for this to be investigated. I saw 2 different consultants as a result & was diagnosed with Intercostal Neuralgia, for which there are various treatment options. Also - I’m on Amitriptyline which was taken away 90% of the pain. Good luck all! 🤞🏻 x

yeah our dr said it is mental health. I was diagnosed with costochondritis after being bashed in the chest at work. Move states and the drs are into mental health issues for everything.

I have fainted with the intensity of this pain . I suffer from Fibromialgia and have rheumatoid arthritis amongst other conditions. It's horrendous.

I was hospitalised three times with Costochondritis as it mimics a heart attack. I’ve learned to adapt after 20 year’s of having it but it’s scary at first.
