When my youngest very serious son was 4 and in PreK, he was at breakfast and the teacher helping in the morning came by and commented how good he was for having breakfast. I added he is good and proud that he is learning his colors. The teacher proceeded to quiz him, what color is my blouse, he looked up from his cereal and replied "BLUE" She asked, what color are my teeth, and he looked up and replied "YELLOW." 😳 I was horrified and said looking at my son, teeth are white. The teacher replied, maybe I need to start brushing harder and walked away. My son continued eating his cereal. 🫠 Sometimes children don't really mean any harm. They just generalize colors.
