@naturefit_cole: Don’t injury yourself trying to do pull ups when you aren’t able to. Use an assistance band! It’s going to take a lot of bodyweight off so that you can master the form and do more reps. Then each week you can use less and less assistance to get stronger over time. Eventually leading to you doing a few unassisted pull ups! The link is in the bottom left corner of the video to get the same band I have here. #pullups
in a few months, I went from maybe 1 to 6 pull ups at 90° bend. or 3 full extension. consistency is key. im not fit by any means. I used weight reduction before and it definitely helps. but doing it on your own is so rewarding

I hesitated buying this for the longest before I could do 1 pull up. Now I can do 4 sets of 10 at 6’4 265 pounds . Chest over bar
