@zabrinapeters: Things That Worked For Me As A Mom Of 7🙌🏾 1. NO diapers or pull ups! I feel like it confuses them so we cut it out and only use underwear. 2. Set a 15-20min timer and sit them on the toilet every time it goes off. 3. BE CONSISTENT!! I can’t stress this enough. 4. I like to put them on a regular toilet so they get used to it and aren’t afraid to use it if we absolutely have to use a public bathroom. 5. Reward if they use the toilet. I used M&Ms or Skittles, but you can use stickers or some type of reward chart to earn something. 6. If they have an accident, clean off with a cold shower. They’ll be less likely to have more accidents. I promise, they’ll be fine😊 7. Stay home for 2 days to practice consistently. 8. Give encouraging reminders and have them repeat it back to you. 9. Underwear to bed and put a diaper or pull up over in case they have an accident. They’ll still be able to feel that they wet their underwear. 10. Portable toilet on the go is a must!
