@foodiestablenz: Mother in Grey Lynn just opened a couple of weeks ago and they already have lines out the door everyday. After we tried it, we can definitely see why. Their almond sweet bun is a signature, and pretty much every table had one. It’s soft and fluffy, with this cream cheese topping that cuts through the sweetness so perfectly. What really surprised me though was the choux, the sweetness is just right, and the texture is so light and airy. The pistachio butter in the mortadella sandwich is the game changer. And the pillowy focaccia with golden crisp edges is one of the best we have had.
